
Bees of Falchera

“We are bees of Falchera” (Siamo api di Falchera), is a project aimed at teaching beekeeping to disadvantaged people in Falchera, Turin, Italy.
Through an educational programme that includes both theoretical and practical lessons, selected candidates will be trained on issues of; urban ecology, bee-keeping (including urban bee-keeping), biodiversity and animal welfare to conclude with pollinating insects and general environmental issues. The project is not only a cultural and agricultural exercise but it is also a valuable tool for social inclusion and biodiversity. It also hopes to contribute to the community development for Falchera.
